• Fatlos is a medicine used for obesity management including weight loss and weight maintenance when used with a reduced-calorie diet. It is also indicated to reduce weight regain after weight loss.

• Fatlos inhibits the absorption of 25-30% from dietary fats by reversible inhibition of gastrointestinal lipases. It exerts its therapeutic activity in the lumen of the stomach and small intestine

Caution & Warnings:

• The effect of Orlistat results in an increase in faecal fat as early as 24 to 48 hours after

• dosing. Upon discontinuation of therapy, faecal fat content usually returns to pre-treatment

Orlistatis contraindicated in case of :

-Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

- Chronic malabsorption syndrome.

- Cholestasis.

- Breast-feeding.

-Pregnancy
